Student Login
Open your browser
and go to: http://bb.cod.edu
On the Blackboard
Academic Suite page, click the User Login button.

You’ll see the Blackboard
login screen. Enter your ID and password in the provided fields.

Your Blackboard ID is the same as your myACCESS ID. For
example, if your name is John Smith, your myACCESS username would
be your last name, first initial and (usually) a number, such as smithj2. If
you need help obtaining your myACCESS information, go to myACCESSselect myACCESS
for Students. Then select the link, What's my Login
ID for myACCESS? Enter the required information. You may also contact
the Student Help Desk for assistance, 630-942-2999.
If you need to reset your password in myACCESS,
you will be given the opportunity to choose the email address to which
the password will be sent. If the email address displayed is incorrect,
please contact the Admissions Office in person, or call either 630-942-2380
or 630-942-2482.
Your Blackboard Password is the same as your myACCESS password. You
set this password yourself. If you need help with your myACCESS password,
please go myACCESS,
select myACCESS for Students. Then select the
link, What's My Password?

Troubleshooting
-
I can log in to Blackboard, but I cannot see any classes. Why not?
or
- When I log in, I see "You are not enrolled
in any classes."
There are several
possible reasons:
- None of
your instructors are using the Blackboard system this term.
- None of your
instructors have made "available" the courses that they are
teaching using the Blackboard
system. It is up to the instructor to set the courses to "available."
- You are not
officially registered in any courses. Verify your enrollment status
through myACCESS.
- You have logged in using old account information (see myACCESS information
above).
If you have verified
your enrollment status, and the term has already begun, please contact
your instructor.
