How are Blackboard classes assigned?
Faculty are assigned to a
class by their Division. Each class is made available for registration
by listing it in Colleague (which you may view via myACCESS). Course
shells are automatically created within Blackboard for every course listed
on Colleague.
What about changes to faculty assignments?
Blackboard receives information
from Colleague each morning for new classes, cancelled classes, changed
faculty assignments and course enrollment and automatically updates course
shells accordingly.
Your division will notify you of impending course cancellations or change
of assignments.
Exporting Course Materials
Should you need assistance, contact the Help
Desk for help copying or exporting course materials to a new course shell.
