What's new about it?

Contextual Menus are expandable menus containing options for each item and are visually represented by two double arrows ("chevrons"). Contextual Menus are only displayed when Edit Mode - ON.

Some contextual menus include sub-menus, so look for the double arrows!

In Blackboard 8, contextual menus were only available in the Grade Center.

How do I use it?

  • Start by turning Edit Mode - ON in the upper right corner of the screen.
  • Depending on the screen, contextual menu options are found on buttons, menu items, grade center columns, etc. Click on a set of double arrows to see the menu options.
