After copying or importing a course, delete old posts from the Discussion Board forums:

  1. Enter Blackboard and open the course.
  2. Edit Mode - On.
  3. Go to Discussion Board.
  4. Open a forum with posts.
  5. Click the top left checkbox to select all threads.
  6. Optional: Uncheck any posts you want to keep.
  7. Click Delete.
  8. Click OK to confirm deletion.

On the next screen, a confirmation message appears in the green bar at the top of the page.

Return to the main page of the Discussion Board. Repeat for every discussion forum.
