A personal message from College of DuPage President Dr. Robert L. Breuder

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you.

I can’t say it often enough or loudly enough.

So on behalf of everyone at College of DuPage, thank you—each and every citizen of this community—for your $600 million investment in new and renovated educational space.

More important, while buildings are the most visible sign of a thriving institution, thank you for what you’ve done for our students—giving them educational experiences, opportunities and resources rarely seen at any university, let alone a community college. And, thanks to you, it’s all delivered to members of our community at a remarkably affordable price.

In this issue of impact, you’ll get a close-up view of the capital investments we’ve made in higher education. You’ll also meet some of the students—the human capital, if you will—who are most immediately reaping the benefits of those investments.

None of that human, structural or community impact would be possible without you, our neighbors. For that, all of us at College of DuPage are eternally grateful.

Thank you for believing in COD, for investing in COD, and for allowing COD to make even more impact on this community.

In an age of often-overpriced and ineffective higher education, you’ve truly helped us build and deliver a new school of thought.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Dr. Robert L. Breuder
President, College of DuPage
