Description of Organization/Services:
Hinsdale Behavioral Health at Bolingbrook Medical Center offers confidential professional assessments at no charge to anyone who may be in need of mental health or addiction services. The center offers help to patients to find the resources in the community that best meet the patient’s needs.

The agency offers a truly a collaborative approach, where family members participate in the process from inception to completion. Description of Organization/Services:
The mission of CASA is to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courts. We promote and support quality volunteer representation for children to provide each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home. CASA currently has a network of more than 50,000 volunteers that serve 225,000 abused and neglected children through 900-plus local program offices nationwide. CASA advocates, also known as volunteer guardians ad litem in some jurisdictions, are appointed members of the court. Judges rely on the information these trusted advocates present.

Description of Organization/Services: Specializes in eating disorders, alcoholism, depression, self injury and anxiety. Also provides care for older adults, with geriatric services for men and women age 60 and older.

Description of Organization/Services:
A variety of issues are addressed, including communication/relationship difficulties, adjustment to transition and loss, substance abuse, and other issues that may impact academic or job performance. Services are tailored to meet the needs of each patient and, depending on the nature of the problem, counseling may be brief or long-term. Additional services include chemical dependency treatment for adults from initial assessment through recovery and continuing care; acute psychiatric treatment in an outpatient setting; family programming to educate and support caregivers from initial intervention through the treatment process and on to the transitional needs of aftercare; continuing recovery services during which counselors monitor a patient's progress and address issues of early recovery and relapse prevention; school services for teens in the adolescent partial hospital day treatment program; psychiatric and dual-diagnosis treatment services; guidance services; holistic assessment and treatment. Support groups include Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon and Depressive-Manic Depressive Association.

Description of Organization/Services: Provides rehabilitative services for patients and their families, including psychological support needed as the patient and family members adjust to the patient’s illness or injury. Marianjoy’s goal is to help patients and their families return to the lifestyle they enjoyed before an illness or injury. To meet this goal, Marianjoy provides a dedicated team of experienced professionals, including a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, a rehabilitation nurse, a resident, as well as a physical therapist, an occupational therapist and a speech-language pathologist. Depending on your circumstances, the team may also include a psychologist, dietician, therapeutic recreation specialist, or a chaplain.

Description of Organization/Services: Provides diagnosed children, ages 3 to 21, the treatment and skills they need to manage their symptoms and succeed both in and out of the classroom. Provides a range of mental services, including inpatient treatment, substance abuse programs, and depression and bipolar support groups. Offers private, intensive, behavioral health services for people experiencing significant and distressing psychological or psychiatric symptoms not requiring hospitalization

Description of Organization/Services: Phillips Center for Children initiated a program to reduce HIV transmission among infected pregnant women to their unborn child. Provides dignity and healing for children, families and individuals who face overwhelming challenges like child abuse, HIV/AIDS, sexual trauma and developmental disabilities.

Description of Organization/Services: The Crisis Team provides counselors in community settings, such as local police departments and schools, who meet with children, adolescents and families who are in crisis situations and need immediate assessment and/or counseling services.

Description of Organization/Services: A nonprofit organization that provides support, leadership and guidance in   initiating and promoting volunteerism. At any given time, Volunteer Center of DuPage maintains a database of 300-plus volunteer opportunities across a wide spectrum of social service outreach programs. We work in partnership with 140-plus area social service agencies and schools, and place between 10,000 and 12,000 volunteers each year. We serve the north and northwest suburbs of Cook County as well as northern DuPage County.
