Civilian Emergency First Aid
This eight-hour first aid course first aid basics for the most common first aid and critical emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. This course is designed to prepare you to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The skills learned in this course will help you recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until EMS arrives. This course teaches students information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
