The College of
DuPage Health Science Discipline (HSD) programs offer a wide range of courses
with hands-on training and academic skills that prepare students for numerous
careers in the medical field. In addition to the development of clinical and
patient care skills, training is also available for students interested in lab
work, research, and medical office administration. Pharmaceutical technician
training is also available for individuals preparing for a new career, as well
as for current health care professionals who would like to expand their knowledge
of pharmacology.
The HSD program options include a Clinical Lab Science (CLS) Associate in Science
transfer degree, a Medical Assistant Associate in Applied Science degree, a Phlebotomy
and EKG certificate program, and Pharmacy Technician training through a partnership
with MRxI Corporation in Lombard.
