The Social Sciences subdivision offers a wide range
of courses that challenge students to critically examine the values,
ideologies, social structures, political arrangements and accepted
assumptions inherent in today’s society. Certificates
and degree programs are available in Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Economics,
Geography, Political Science, Social Science and Sociology. For specific

Social Sciences certificates and degrees prepare students for immediate
entry into a number of exciting careers right after graduation. In
addition, Social Sciences courses fulfill many of the general education
requirements needed for a successful transfer to a baccalaureate-granting
institution.
