"Partnering
to educate, employ and retrain the future health care workforce of
tomorrow and today."
The DuPage Area Healthcare Leadership Council (DAHLC) is comprised
of key executives, employees and educators from area health care
organizations. The Council’s
purpose is to address health care worker shortages in area hospitals and health-related
facilities. Specifically, the organization’s collective focus is to:
•
Increase the number of clinical sites available for health-related
programs;
•
Share and co-sponsor program faculty members to provide necessary
classroom instruction;
•
Improve the quality of clinical experiences for both students and
preceptors at affiliated health care facilities;
•
Develop certificate and degree programs to meet the staffing needs
in emerging and critical new health care fields.
