Plants Plus

The spring plant sale is scheduled on Saturday, May 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and May 12 to 14 from noon to 5 p.m. Plants Plus, formerly the Student Plant Shop, is the Horticulture retail store, located in Building K, Room 101. All live items sold in the shop are grown in our greenhouses. Students who work in the shop gain retail experience, customer service skills and increase their knowledge of plants. Sales from the shop fund our department, pay student wages, buy supplies and fund scholarships for horticulture students.
We will offer foliage plants, pot plants, blooming plants, mixed planters and seasonal crops such as mums, poinsettias, Easter lilies, annuals and perennials for sale. We will also have garden giftware, soil, fertilizer and a small selection of gardening supplies available.
We will no longer take orders for fresh or silk flowers. On occasion, we may have floral arrangements created by students in class available for sale on some holidays and randomly throughout the year.
