Hurricane Harvey Relief

Over the last few days we have watched the devastation of Hurricane Harvey unfolding from the safety and shelter of our homes. The destruction occurring in Houston and the southeast Texas region leaves tens of thousands without food, clothing or shelter. Can you imagine the fear and exhaustion many are facing as they grapple with the uncertainty about the days ahead?

The excitement and anticipation of a new school year for students in these areas have been put on hold.

College of DuPage invites our community to join us in sending relief to the students of Houston and their families.

Illinois Community College System Foundation and Harvey HELP

College of DuPage has partnered with the Illinois Community College System Foundation to collect financial donations for community college students in Houston. The funds will be donated to the Texas Association of Community Colleges Harvey HELP Fund.

Harvey HELP (Higher Education Learning Pathways): Relief to Higher Ed

Students Affected by Hurricane Harvey represents a centralized relief response championed by organizations across the Texas higher education spectrum. The goal is to help students impacted by Hurricane Harvey by raising funds to support emergency student-aid programs in colleges and universities. These programs help students and their families recover from and manage immediate life-and-logistics emergencies, affording them the ability to stay, or quickly get back on, their higher education pathways.

Donations made via check may be sent to:

The Illinois Community College System Foundation
Attention: Dr. Joe Kanosky, President
