The Graphic Arts Technology (GAT) program prepares students to enter the printing and publishing industry with professional skills for the job market.
Because of the strong curriculum and up-to-date computer labs and graphic arts equipment, local employers hire current students and graduate of the Graphic Arts Technology program.
Students who complete an Associates in Applied Science (AAS) degree are immediately employable or can transfer to one of the several four-year schools that have articulation agreements for Graphic Arts Technology, Graphic Communications, or Printing Management.
Those with job experience or other academic degrees can gain the knowledge and skills to adapt to a high-tech graphic production environment or job enrichment by pursuing courses leading to a certificate. |
