Parking Structure

Parking Structure Update Archive

Update (10/31/05)
On September 29, 2005, the Board of Trustees voted to postpone the decision of building the Parking Structure until a later date.

Update (9/30/05)
The Board of Trustees is currently re-evaluating the need for a parking structure.

Update (8/31/05)
The design development for the Parking Structure is completed. The Board of Trustees is currently reviewing options for the structural system (pre-cast vs. cast-in-place concrete). Once the analysis is complete, the project will resume the construction documents phase.

Update (4/30/05)
Design development work is progressing. The project is on schedule.

Update (3/31/05)
On March 17, the Board of Trustees approved the schematic design for this project. Design development will begin immediately and is currently scheduled for completion in April 2005.

Update (2/28/05)
A schematic design presentation was given at the February Board of Trustees Meeting. After approval of schematic design by the Board, the design development phase will begin.

Update (1/27/05)
Schematic design is approximately 75 percent complete. Schematic design presentation for Board approval is currently scheduled for March 2005.

Update (12/15/04)
The Parking Structure is currently in the schematic design phase. In October 2004, the College of DuPage Board of Trustees approved a contract award for design services to Walker Parking Consultants.
