Updates The design team is currently at the beginning of the schematic design phase. The team is considering issues, such as site orientation, building planning and establishing departmental adjacencies.
The program verification phase of the project was completed on Nov. 18. A schematic design kick-off meeting is set for Dec. 1.
Program verification started on Oct. 10 and is expected to be completed in December.Currently, the design team is developing a 90-day work plan for the program verification phase. This phase is expected to begin in late September.
On Aug. 23, the Board of Trustees awarded the contract for A/E services to Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum Architects for design of the Health and Science Center. The program verification phase of the project is expected to begin in September.
