Nominate an outstanding woman for the
College of DuPage Woman of Distinction Award
(in memory of Adade Wheeler).

March is Women’s History Month, a perfect time to honor an outstanding woman who you know and admire! Select someone who has made significant contributions to the personal and/or professional advancement of women and nominate her for the College of DuPage Woman of Distinction Award.

This is a great opportunity for you to publicly recognize a woman who has enhanced the lives of other women.

Nomination Deadline: Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, by 5 p.m.

Woman of Distinction Award Requirements
Nomination Essay
Please discuss how your nominee’s volunteer activities have influenced the personal and/or professional advancement of women in two or more of the following areas. Give specific examples.
• Inspires, motivates and empowers women
• Advocates on behalf of women
• Educates others about women’s issues

NOTE: Priority is placed on activities that take place outside of or beyond the scope of a nominee’s full-time occupation/employment.

Nomination Checklist
The nominee must reside, work or volunteer in Community College District 502 (College of DuPage District).
