Information
The Early Child Education and Care program offers students the knowledge
and skills that enables them to provide education and care for infants,
toddlers, preschool-aged and school-aged children. Classroom experiences
are combined with direct observation and participation in both campus
and community Early Childhood programs.
Students at C.O.D. can earn an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.)
degree in Early Childhood Education and Care. The A.A.S.

Planning Worksheet are available to assist you with your degree
planning.
In addition, the college offers six certificate programs: Early Childhood
Education and Care; Infant, Toddler and 2-Year-Old Child Care; Early
Childhood Center Administration; School-Age Child Care; Multicultural
Education and Care for the Young Child; and Family Child Care Provider.
