Spanish and Bilingual-Spanish Course Offerings
Explore the field of early childhood education and care in these introductory courses taught in Spanish or bilingual Spanish and English. Through a hybrid blend of classroom instruction, lab work and field observation, students are introduced to the history and philosophies of early childhood education, the types of childhood programs and essential educator topics such as:
- Developmentally appropriate practices
- Considerations for diversity
- Professional roles and responsibilities of early childhood education careers
- Current licensing requirements
- Academic concepts explained in English and Spanish
