Learning Communities

This course will introduce participants to the principles and practices of learning communities as well as provide opportunities for networking with other faculty. Participants will gain hands-on opportunities to develop activities for a new learning community or work on refining an existing one through partnering with other interested faculty.
Completion of this course earns 3 semester hours
of credit
This class will meet on all Fridays from February 3, 2012 - March 16 with one exception:

Communication, Collaboration, and Conflict Resolution

All of us can grow our human relations skills in our personal and professional lives. This workshop will help promote a culture of discipline among COD employees that will improve communication skills, efforts in collaboration, conflict resolution skills, and achieving consensus in decision-making. Facilitated by Dr. Patrick Brennan, the workshop will feature both lecture and dialog.
Dr. Brennan holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
