This tip applies to all MS Office programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher.

Did you ever try to draw a square or circle using the rectangle or oval tool in the drawing toolbar? You can make a perfect square or circle in either of two ways:

1) Hold down the Shift key as you click to start at the upper left and drag to the lower right

2) Hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys as you start at the center and drag out.

You can also format any cell to show the mixed number or fraction equivalent of a number by formatting the cell to Fraction.
