Tips of the Week: from
Helen Olberg
This week’s tip is about headers and footers in printed Web pages.
The following settings will allow you to insert the Page number, total number of pages, date, time, URL address of the page, etc., into the header or footer of your printed Web page.
In Internet Explorer click File and then Page Setup. I use the print codes pictured to display ,,,
in the header - the Window title, then centered – ‘Page’ followed by the current page number, followed by the word ‘of’, followed by the total number of pages.
in the footer - the page address (URL [uniform resource locator]) and the date, centered.
All these provide a handy reference if I want to return to the page in the future.
