Here’s a fun tip for all who create Excel charts.

When you create a bar or column chart in Excel, you can replace any of the bars/columns with a picture. Here’s how:

1. Create your bar chart as usual.
2. Click on the bar that you want to change. (Your first click on a bar selects the series, your second click will select the individual bar.)
3. Click the menu items Insert Picture ClipArt.
4. Find an image that you like – noting that it will become tall and thin.
