TLC Tips of the Week:                          from Helen Olberg

This week’s tip applies to Microsoft Outlook.

Did you know that you can display non-consecutive dates in your Outlook Calendar? The Calendar displays dates consecutively—usually in single week or month view, but it can be useful to see several nonconsecutive dates at a glance. For example, if you meet with the same person on September 12 and 19, October 31, and November 6, you might want to view those dates at the same time, giving you easy access to meeting purposes, locations, attendees, etc.

To view nonconsecutive dates (up to 14):

  1. Show your Calendar in one-day, five-day, or seven-day view.
  2. On the right side of the window in the Date Navigator (the small calendar that displays the current month), click the first date you want to view.
  3. While holding down the CTRL key, click any other dates you want to view. (To remove a date, click it again.)
