Resources Available to Clubs for No Charge
| Mailboxes
|
Club mailboxes are located in the Student Leadership Council office
(SRC 1550). U.S. mail will be sent to advisers. |
| Telephones
|
Local and on-campus phone calls pertaining to club business can be
made in the Student Leadership Council office (SRC 1550) or the Student
Activities office (SRC 1800) with permission. |
| Voicemail
|
Voicemail is available for clubs. You may request a voicemail account
through Shannon Hernandez. |
| Audio-Visual
Equipment |
Advisers may reserve AV equipment through library circulation desk,
ext 2106. |
| Computers
|
Computers are available for academic purposes and printing in the
Academic Computing Center and the library computer area. Computers
without printing capabilities are available for use in the Billiards
Lounge (SRC 1750) and the Bookstore (SRC 1600). |
| Typewriters
|
Available in the library (SRC 3048). |
| Student
Newspaper |
The
Courier (SRC 1560) is published weekly through the week prior
to finals. News briefs are free. Display and classified ad rates are
available as well as assistance in creating display ads. |
| Dance
Floor |
A dance floor is available for club events. Club members must supply
the labor for set-up and take-down. Schedule through Stephanie
Jaco . Club members must go through a brief training before they
can schedule the dance floor. |
| Popcorn
Machine |
A popcorn machine is available for club use. You can schedule use
of the popcorn machine through Stephanie Jaco.
Club members must go through a brief training before they can check
out the popcorn machine. |

These services
should be used only for club-related materials. They require a work-order
or requisition, which must be signed by the club adviser and then by the
director of Student Activities.
| Bookstore
|
Can use requisitions to purchase items without tax and with departmental
discount (20%). |
| Sound
Equipment, Staging and Piano Rental |
Work with Student Activities liaison and Conference and Event Services
staff in event planning process to make arrangements. |
| Copies
|
ALL club requests for copies must be accompanied by a completed
staff services form SIGNED by the CLUB ADVISOR. Fewer than 100
copies may be made through walkup service WITHOUT instant service
charge (additional 50%). See Club Finances
for details. |
| Signs
|
Available through Staff Services. |
| Posting
Banners |
Blow-ups (2 sizes posters-see Staff Services form) of regular sized
paper, cost $5 each |
| Mailings
|
Should have club name and Student Activities in return address; larger
mailings will be charged to the club and must be accompanied by a
requisition. |
