Basic S.W.A.T.

Program Information:
This 40 hour course is intended to
give tactical operators a comprehensive overview of deployment
considerations and an understanding of the tactics needed for successful
missions. This training will include classroom, live-fire, and
practical exercises. Upon completion of this course, which will be
conducted in the state of the art Homeland Security Education Center at
the College of DuPage, operators will return to their departments with a
sound tactical foundation and the fundamental skills required for
S.W.A.T. operations (including: high-risk warrant service, barricaded
subjects, and hostage rescue).
