Program Information:

This 40 hour course is intended to give tactical operators a comprehensive overview of deployment considerations and an understanding of the tactics needed for successful missions.  This training will include classroom, live-fire, and practical exercises.  Upon completion of this course, which will be conducted in the state of the art Homeland Security Education Center at the College of DuPage, operators will return to their departments with a sound tactical foundation and the fundamental skills required for S.W.A.T. operations (including:  high-risk warrant service, barricaded subjects, and hostage rescue).

• Close Quarter Combat

• Manual Breaching

• Dynamic and Surreptitious Tactics

• The Sniper/Observer’s Role

• Low-Light Tactics

• Proper Use of Ballistic Shields

• Chemical Munitions / Less-Lethal Munitions / Distraction Devices

**Cancellations for this class must be received by SLEA 35 days prior to the start of the program in order to avoid being billed!**
