Law Enforcement agencies today are facing many challenges; recruitment and talented leadership are two of the greatest. Attracting, developing and retaining quality employees today is more costly and has a greater impact on the bottom-line than ever before.

This course focuses on the practices of current research and trends necessary to develop a successful recruiting program which will assist with personnel career development and retention. Emphasis will be placed on the role police chiefs, sheriffs and recruiters from small to large departments have in selecting the right person for their agency and then developing the personnel within their agency for maximum organizational effectiveness.
