of teens and predators using Social Networking sites and cell phone
applications continues to rise across this nation at a steady rate as
parents and communities become aware of the vulnerability of our children
through these sites. In addition some users for FaceBook, ooVoo, Skype,
Omegle, Instagram, Words with Friends and Twitter have depicted evidence
for criminal offenses they have committed through dialog and/or pictures/videos.
Learn how investigations in the Social Networks/Phone Applications can
facilitate a successful prosecution of your online targets.
This 8
hour program has been developed to facilitate law enforcement agencies
in understanding the use of social networking sites in building complete
cases that can ultimately be presented to local prosecutors for charging.
Officers attending this training will gain first hand experience in
navigating computer sites through the use of the Suburban Law Enforcement
Academy’s (SLEA) Mobile Computer Lab.

Seizing and Analyzing computers in computer related investigations

as well as your victims in your jurisdiction for crimes that may have
occurred
