Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings

Program Information:
There is no way to predict where and
when the next terrorist bombing will occur. This 8 hour course of
instruction has been designed by the Energetic Materials Research and
Testing Center at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology,
specifically for law enforcement and fire department personnel. This
awareness level training class will allow first responders to identify
and take appropriate action in the event of a WMD energetic materials
(explosives and incendiaries) incident. Upon completion of the class,
participants will receive credit for completion of the course from the
Department of Homeland Security and New Mexico Tech.
Registration for this program is
restricted to law enforcement/U.S. citizens.

**Cancellations for this class must be received
by SLEA 35 days prior to the start of the program in order to avoid being
