Program Information:
The successful
investigation of homicides is predicated on the hard work of
investigators and detectives. Equally important is the essential
management aspect that these cases require.
The 16-hour program
follows the step by step process of a homicide investigation from its
inception to completion. The curriculum also places emphasis on the
management of the various components within these investigations, i.e.
staffing, tasks, etc. Upon completion of this program law enforcement
personnel will have the foundation necessary to successfully lead a
homicide investigation. This training will also be of great benefit
to recently promoted detectives, detective supervisors and patrol
personnel.

strategies as well as understanding potential pitfalls.
