Program Information:

The Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) requires that exercises are evaluated according to Federal standards. The HSEEP training course may not have provided you the opportunity to be comfortable in the position of exercise evaluator. And without analytical data from the evaluation team, the relevance of an exercise cannot be successfully gauged. This one day Exercise Evaluation Course will ensure that participants understand the role of an exercise evaluator, the information needs of evaluators in advance of and during the exercise, and evaluation concepts. Because participants will evaluate the actual performance of a simulated disaster response, this course is held only twice per year in conjunction with the COD Full Scale Exercise. Successful course participants will be offered the opportunity to apply all course concepts and receive feedback into their participation.  This course is appropriate for all levels of staff including program volunteers in local exercise programs.
