Program Information:
This course teaches students the finer points of grant
writing, enabling proposals and applications to be more competitive.
Participants will develop the outline of a grant program, exercise,
write sections of a proposal and letter of inquiry and prepare budgets.
Topics Include:
Instructor: Diane Logsdon, IPEM
Diane Logsdon is the President of Logsdon Consultation Services. She
works closely with local organizations on planning, exercise, training
and organizational efforts. She has an extensive background in program
planning and development, training, exercise command, leadership and
functional operations. She has developed, directed and evaluated HSEEP
certified exercises. Diane serves as the President of the Northern Illinois
Emergency Management Consortium and volunteers on the Regional Catastrophic
Planning Team. She is a member of the Illinois Emergency Management
Assistance Team.
