The Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at College of DuPage is offering a two-day, 16-hour course in digital photography. This course is a basic-use class that will familiarize the law
enforcement professional with the operations and terminology needed to utilize a digital camera.

Course Overview
Imaging techniques are an intricate part of investigations for the law enforcement professional. This course will provide students
with hands-on experience in the operating techniques and applications of digital cameras in a variety of physical environments.

  • Digital Camera System (hardware, software,
    accessories and optional equipment)
  • Digital Camera Features and Components
  • Downloading Techniques and Image
    Resolutions
  • Digital Camera Functions
  • Different Exposure Types (shutter speeds,
    flash and metering modes)
  • Image Editing
  • Printing and Viewing Images

**Cancellations for this class must be received by SLEA 35 days prior to the start of the program in order to avoid being billed!**
