Public service is a public trust and
the citizens of our communities expect our public officials to act in
accordance with the law. This trust is endangered when misconduct
occurs or appears to have occurred. Conducting public corruption
investigations requires an approach that clearly demonstrates
impartiality while being time sensitive. This process is paramount to
protecting the credibility of government organizations and its
employees.
This two-day,16-hour program has
been developed to provide comprehensive introduction into conducting
these types of investigations by Detectives and Investigators. These
high-profile matters usually require a comprehensive and thorough
investigation of prominent individuals who may have a significant
influence on the same law enforcement agency conducting the
investigation. This course will help provide the tools and methods for
the investigators to stay on target and provide the agency a defensible
position in the investigative methodology that can result in a
successful outcome for the agency.
