Computer Crimes Investigation

Tuition: $550.00

This course helps investigators and prosecutors understand how computers are being used to commit crimes, including fraud, harassment and stalking. Students learn how to navigate the Internet and go online to participate in chat rooms centered on fraud, identity theft and harassment. Students then learn how to locate evidence needed for a successful prosecution and how to seize and search computers. Each student completes a practical examination that may include recovery of evidence in a Power Point presentation.

**Cancellations for this class must be received by SLEA 35 days prior to the start of the program in order to avoid being billed!**
