This program has been approved by the Illinois Training and Standards
Board as meeting the requirements of Public Training Act 94-354 mandatory
training for Police Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs. Participants will receive
(7) hours credit toward their required mandatory training.
This workshop focuses on
how to build and maintain successful police organizations. the public
and government leaders demand high accountability from senior law enforcement
officials to be effective and run ethical organizations. This accoutability
becomes increasingly difficult with reductions in staff positions and
budgetary constraints. The actual cases presented in this workshop are
derived from current law enforemnt issues that are faced by police leaders.
