Major Event Planning
This two-day course is designed to inform and educate public safety
officials and other government officials in safety concerns and considerations
relating to planning and preparing for major events in your jurisdiction.
During this program students will be provided time to work on plans
for events for their respective jurisdiction and will be provided with
a flash-drive containing planning templates.

Instructor: Sergeant Tom Hausner, Walworth County Sheriff,
Tom Hausner is a former SWAT Commander for a 40 member multi-jurisdictional
team, with 25 years of SWAT experience as operator and team leader.
He has served for over 30 years as a law enforcement officer, is a former
US Marine, graduate of FBINA and Instructor of FTO San Jose Model. For
24 years Tom worked for Alpine Valley Music Theatre, WI and was Director
of Security/Operations developing operational plans for sold out concerts,
events and festivals at several major venues in the Midwest.
