Description of Organization:
World Relief is an international non-profit agency that works with local churches, individual volunteers, and community groups to offer a comprehensive range of services to refugees and immigrants, the majority of whom are low-income. Through our Immigration Legal Services department, we provide assistance with family-based immigration.
Description of Service Learner Role:
Students will assist with outreach for monthly Citizenship workshops. Students are trained on how to fill out applications for the United States citizenship application, and then volunteer at our citizenship workshops where they help Lawful Permanent Residents fill out their applications. They may also help with light administrative tasks.
