Description of Organization:
Social Services provides assistance to victims of domestic violence and other crimes, youth and families, and those with mental illness in the form of outreach, information & referral, short-term counseling, 24-7 crisis intervention, community education and court advocacy for Orders of Protection.

Description of Service Learner Role:
There are a variety of options available for service learners:
1. Group work with youth.
2. Design education packets for victims of domestic violence and those suffering with traumatic loss.
3. Home/ outreach visits with social workers.
4. Participation in community meetings.

5. Ride-along with street patrol.

Organization Requirements:
Student must pass background check, maintain confidentiality, and be willing to assist the community of Naperville.
