Description of Organization:
Willow Falls is a continuing-care senior living community, overlooking ponds and fountains and located on a picturesque, 33 acre site in Crest Hill, Illinois. The Willow Falls community consists of The Inn, condominiums, town homes, recreation center, a health and wellness medical center and an 11 acre conservation area filled with wildlife.
The Inn at Willow Falls is an assisted living and Alzheimer care facility. It has a unique indoor Town Square enjoyed by the entire community where park benches line a spacious walkway. There is an old time general store, bank, hair salon, and soda fountain that create an intimate small-town atmosphere while providing many practical conveniences.
Description of Service Learner Role:
Provide assistance and ongoing activities to people between 50 and 100 years of age. Assist with large group activities, visit with residents individually, work in general store, light filing.
