The Hanson Center is the primary recreational resource of the Ray Graham Association - a non-for-profit agency that benefits people with disabilities.
Description of Service Learner Role:
Engaging in recreational activities with adults with disabilities in a variety of settings - arts & crafts, cooking, horticulture, horseback riding and field trips. There is also an emphasis on basic learning skills such as math and reading.
Organization Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a background check
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must fill out a volunteer registration form
Number of Placements Available:
2-3 persons per day
