Description of Organization:
Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region serves more than 3,000 infants, children and young adults with developmental disabilities each year. For more than 50 years, families have relied on us to provide specialized services. Through our dedication to helping individuals gain their independence, we have become one of the largest pediatric outpatient rehabilitation centers in Illinois providing the following: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Evaluations, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Audiology, Social Services, Assistive Technology Therapy, Community Outreach Programs, Child Development Center, and Specialty Clinics.
Description of Service Learner Role:
To assist Occupational, Physical or Speech Therapists with outreach therapy programs and/or Child Development Teachers with needs in the classroom(s), while gaining valuable experience in the community and volunteer hours.
Organization Requirements:
Minimum of 16 years of age.
