Description of Organization:
The B. R. Ryall YMCA provides recreational opportunities to DuPage County residents.
Description of Service Learner Role:
There are many different opportunities available to service learning students depending on their skills, interests, course objectives, and time they can commit. Opportunities can range from assisting staff with recreational activities, customer service, helping with arts & humanities classes, assisting at their concession stand, working with day camps, and even helping with their Spanish classes.
Organization Requirements:
A volunteer application must be filled out and a child abuse background check must be cleared prior to beginning service. Please stop by the Service Learning office to complete the background check form. It takes a few weeks for this to process so the sooner you get it filled out the better.
