Advanced addictions counseling class explores in greater depth
issues related to the treatment of the chemically dependent. Topics
include advanced pharmocodynamics of alcohol and drugs, sexuality
and addiction, planning intervention, applications to special
populations, and employee assistance programs. Prerequisite: Human
Services 223. (4 lecture hours)
