Certificate Option:
Human Services Addictions Counselor
The Addictions Counseling certificate program provides training
for professionals working with clients and their families on addictions
and related problems. The certificate requires 55 credits in the
courses listed below. This program is approved by the Illinois
Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association
(IAODAPCA) and qualifies the student to sit for the state Certification
exam at the Provisional Alcohol and Drug Counselor Level. The
number after each course name indicates the number of credits
of that course.
