Purpose:
To
recognize UniForum Chicago and its members who meet at C.O.D. monthly,
to support a student who shares UniForum Chicago’s commitment
to open systems, and to award a student who is working toward UNIX Certification
and/or pursuing an education in open systems development
Eligibility:
• Enrolled minimum 6 credit hours per semester
• Maintain cumulative 2.5 GPA
• Demonstrate commitment toward preparing for a career in computer
science or a related field
• Submit letter stating commitment to attain UNIX Certificate
and/or to develop, architect or program an open system
Terms:
• To be used for tuition, fees and books at COD beginning Spring
semester 2008
• Student should attend one monthly meeting of UniForum at C.O.D.
to be recognized as the winner
• Student is free to attend meetings as student affiliate without
paying dues
