Alice Giordano Alumni Scholarship (G352)

Source of Support:
Alumni Association, in honor of Alice Giordano, mother and teacher; C.O.D. instructor since 1974, Coordinator of Child Care and Development from 1985-1990, which was expanded to include a Pre-school and Day Care Center.

Award Amount:
1 @ $500

Deadline:
November 1, 2007

Purpose:
To recognize a parent in need of financial assistance to attend C.O.D. and who meets the criteria listed below

Eligibility:
• May be part- time or full-time student at C.O.D.
• Must be registered for at least 3 credit hours
• Must be a parent with one child under 12 years of age
• Must have attended two consecutive semesters (Spring and Fall can be considered consecutive)
• Must have achieved a C in every class taken

Terms:
To be used for tuition, fees, books and/or child care beginning Spring semester 2008
