Purpose:
In honor of Herb Salberg's (former Athletic Director and Coach at College of DuPage) belief in the power of sportsmanship both on and off the playing field, this scholarship is established by his daughters and is offered to Physical Education majors and/or students who intend to pursue Physical Education beyond College of DuPage.

Eligibility:
• Must be a Physical Education Major or intend to pursue Physical Education beyond C.O.D.
• Must be enrolled full or part-time
• Must include a one page written recommendation by an instructor, coach, supervisor or appropriate person which speaks to the character of the candidate

Terms:
• To be used for tuition, fees and/or books at C.O.D.

Selection Process: One professor of Physical Education, with preference given to either Don Klass or LuAnn Zimmick - who knew Herb Salberg - to serve on the selection committee.
