2 (two) $3,000 awards annually

Deadline:
May 1, 2009 for Fall Semester 2009
November 1, 2009 for Spring Semester 2010

Purpose:
This Scholarship intends to improve the competitive edge of domestic manufacturers by assisting individuals wishing to develop their skills through technical training. Judy Stevenson, Magnetrol’s owner, is a long time supporter of self-improvement through education and hard work. It is an honor to support the community by minimizing financial barriers that prevent individuals from meeting their potential.       

Eligibility:
• Must be a full or part time student
• Must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Welding
• Must have a minimum high school or college GPA of 2.5
• Of the 2 awards, one will be awarded to a student who demonstrates financial need by filing the 2009-2010 FAFSA.

Terms:
• To be used for tuition, fees or books
