2 @ $500 or 1 @ $1,000 annually

Purpose:
In recognition of the benefit that College of DuPage supplied alum Tom Keiser, by providing direction at a critical point of his life, and supporting his pursuit of an education which enabled him to access a successful entrepreneurial career, this scholarship is established to benefit students who might also be at a place in their life where such support can make a difference to the direction of their future ability to provide for themselves and their families.

Eligibility:
• Must be a declared Accounting Major
• Must be a single-parent (not married, with minor children at home)
• Must have no previous degree beyond high school
• Preference given to students age 30 years or older

Terms:
To be used for tuition, fees and books at C.O.D.

Selection Process:
A total of $1,000 should be awarded annually. The Selection Committee may determine number of awards (1 @ $1,000 or 2 @ $500) based on quality of the applicant pool.
