Source of Support:
B.J. Hoddinott, whose philanthropy established the Hobbinott Wildlife
Sanctuary on West Campus and Hoddinott Wildlife Ecology Endowment, Scholarship
and Marsh Project.
Award Amount:
3 awards of full tuition, fees and books for one academic year
Deadline:
April 1, 2008
Purpose:
To assist a student interested in pursuing a field of study in Wildlife
Biology or Wildlife Ecology in Natural Sciences
Eligibility:
• Must be a full-time student taking 12 credit hours per semester
• Must have accumulated 32 credit hours by Fall 2008, at least
50 percent of credits from C.O.D.
• Must have 2.8 GPA to apply
• Must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA during scholarship year to receive
funds.
• Financial need shall be considered
Terms:
• Covers all tuition, fees and books for FY 2008-2009.
• Must complete a 3-hour independent study during the scholarship
academic year, approved by Hoddinott Project Supervisor or Natural Sciences
dean.
• If student fails to qualify for subsequent semester, remainder
may be awarded to next eligible student during the same academic year
• Unused funds at the end of the academic year will revert
to the fund.
